Securing the right visa for you
Settled Status is another way of describing having Indefinite Leave to Remain, granting non-British citizens the right to live and work in the UK permanently. If you are the partner, child or parent of a British citizen or someone who has Indefinite Leave to Remain, you can apply for a Family Visa. This visa grants temporary permission to live and work in the UK, with the opportunity to extend.
The process is thorough and every requirement must be met for a Family Visa to be granted. The application process includes proving your eligibility, such as the relationship between yourself and your family member with Settled Status in the UK; collection of documentary evidence; fulfilling financial requirements; completing an English language test; completing the form, and attending a biometrics appointment.
