2. What are the steps of the application process?
There are several steps to the application process:
- Find an approved sponsor and ensure the job fulfils all eligibility requirements: the job must be on the list of eligible occupations and meet skills and salary criteria which is around £25,600 per annum.
- Obtain a Certificate of Sponsorship from the employer.
- Meet the required level of English language proficiency.
- Collate required documents including your passport, Certificate of Sponsorship, proof of English language proficiency, and proof of finances.
- Pay the fee and submit the online application.
- Submit your biometrics.
- Wait for the outcome which takes around three weeks.
3. Do I need a solicitor to apply for a visitor visa?
